Jason Isbell Comes to Charlottesville

On Sunday, July 26, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will be playing at the Ting Pavilion on the Downtown Mall. Jason Isbell, a 6-time Grammy winner with a unique folk sound, is known for his popular songs “Cover Me Up” and “If We Were Vampires.” The Ting pavilion, the popular host of Fridays after Five, is an open-air concert venue well known in the city. The perfect place to host an event sure to draw a large crowd. 

This concert is the 22nd annual Benefit Concert for the Free Clinic in Charlottesville. The Free Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides free medical and dental care to those in need. The annual benefit concert is crucial for their annual funding. 

According to the Free Clinic, “ Last year alone the Charlottesville Free Clinic served over 3,000 members of our community.” The available sponsorship tickets are detailed on their website and include premium seats, a pre-concert cocktail party, and formal recognition of sponsorship. 

“The Benefit Concert is one of the organization’s primary fundraisers, and sponsorships, from $600 to $25,000 and above, play a significant role in helping the organization reach its financial goals,” according to the Ting Pavilion website.
