You Will Lava This
ORLANDO, Fla. — At Disney World, people go for the rides, the character experiences, and the memories that would be made with family. Not many know another reason why people go; because of the food. Disney just made a twist on their beloved traditional Pineapple Dole-Whip. This twist is called the I Lava You Float found at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom.
The traditional Dole-Whip is a pineapple soft serve that can sometimes be served in Pineapple Fanta. The new twist that is going on is that Disney World took out the pineapple soft-serve and threw in an orange, then added passion fruit soft serve, pop rocks, and Strawberry Fanta.
The first sip or bite of this is out of this world. The citrus of the orange, passion fruit, and strawberry flavors just make it feel like those flavors are meant to be together. Then the Pop Rocks on top does not just help with the theme that the Float is supposed to give off, like the taste of a frozen volcano, but it gives a magical sensation in your mouth.
The only problem I could get from this float is it being so good that I ate it too fast and it gave me a brain freeze. The I Lava You Float is so good on a hot day when you just need to cool down at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, plus it is just under $10 including tax.
So next time you are at “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” get yourself the I Lava You Float, find a bench, take your mask off, and enjoy the citrusy goodness.
