Notes from the Editors

 William Shakespeare wrote in King Henry VI Part II, “Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven.”

I have experienced the destructive forces of ignorance first hand. I let myself blindly walk through the halls of PVCC, dropping classes. The Forum changed it all for me.

I walked into my first day of ENG 121 not knowing how it would change me. The Introduction to Journalism class not only helped me discover my passion for writing and news, it also gave me the confidence I needed to publish my own work. I want to give the same opportunity to all who are involved in The Forum this year.

Along with my Co-assistant Editor Bryn Dotson, I will be focused on bringing entertaining and accurate information to the PVCC community.

We will spread knowledge so our community can fly on its wings, like Shakespeare believed.
