On Aug.29, PVCC welcomed new and returning students for the Fall 2018 semester. The band Full Plate played a set of oldies but goodies out on the patio Subway provided sandwiches and The Korner supplied cookies. Staff got to learn about the new students and have conversations with their former students that still attend PVCC.

SGA hosted this event on the patio behind the Bolick Center with the help of Mark Nizer, who was inside the Bolick Center  and helping open the fine arts programs for this semester. Nizer had some interesting tricks up his sleeves with his abbreviated show that previewed his Aug. 31 performance.

This year’s welcome back social went smoothly thanks to SGA President Sophia Keniston and Coordinator of Student Engagement and Student Life Shawn Anderson. These two individuals put a lot of hard work into coordinating this annual event so that all students will be engaged at PVCC
