PVCC LGBTQA Club Celebrates National Coming Out Day

On Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 the PVCC LGBTQA club hosted their annual Coming Out Day table in the Bolick Student Center.
The table, run by the officers and other members, included a colorful banner decorated with flags to represent different orientations and genders. Students had a chance to sign their name on the banner to show their support for the cause.
“It was really wonderful to see all the people’s name who came and showed us support,” vice president of the club, Norman Dorise said, “I feel that the students and staff are really supportive and are committed to making this a safe space for LGBT students.”
