For students looking for more to the community college experience, Wednesday, Sept. 14, the Office of Student Activities at Piedmont Virginia Community College will hold the Annual Fall Welcome Back Social and Club Day on campus.

Over 40 clubs will be available all day in the Bolick Student Center to inform new students and possibly even recruit a few in the process that will allow them to develop new skills. PVCC has a diverse selection of clubs to choose from, including the Board Game Club and the Veterans Club.

From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., a catered lunch will be provided with live music by Richmond, Virginia’s Susan Greenbaum to all students and faculty for free as part of the student social. The food served will include macaroni and cheese, barbeque, green beans, chicken and cookies.

“Club day will be a zoo, a great zoo. People will interact, meet new people, reacquaint with old friends and see all the wonderful clubs and organizations we have,” said Steve McNerney, Director of Student Activities.
